3.  8 meetings total  You can miss 2 meetings if you contact Jenna or Sydney before the meeting.  Alternate meeting time: Friday 3:15 at the SEL café ◦ If you attend alternate meeting time, your absence at the Thursday night meeting does not count.  New Member Meetings ◦ March 20 th – Introduction, Offices, Icebreakers. Anyone with an elected position is required to attend. ◦ April 3 rd – Elections. Only executive officers are required to attend. ◦ April 10 th – Elected position turnover. Anyone with an elected position is required to attend. ◦ Note: These meetings will be the same time as regular meetings.

4. February 28 th. This is mandatory.  Includes set up and tear down.  Food pick-up  Ticket sales ◦ Every member must sell 10 pre-sale tickets. ◦ Sign up to work the table at the Union. ◦ Ticket sales at the dance.  Advertising ◦ Chalking team ◦ Flyers team ◦ Contacting other organizations  Decoration making will take place during meetings ◦ January 30 th meeting will be in Taylor Tower Lobby.

7.  James Volunteering ◦ If you still need a position, contact Rohit.  MMORE ◦ Gala volunteers, you should be receiving information from Laura Wieck shortly.  If you changed your mind and want to volunteer at the gala, let me know ASAP and I can get you on the list. ◦ Possible future volunteering TBD.

8.  Application Review  Interviews – March 1 st and 2 nd ◦ Everyone needs to sign up for one time slot.  Tapping – March 7 th ◦ Minimum of 16 people  Initiation – March 23 rd (12-1) ◦ If you attend tapping, you are not required to attend initiation.

9.  ______ /10 - Essay 1 (Evaluate the applicant’s motivations for applying to Mirrors. Would this person be able to contribute effectively to Mirrors? Does this person demonstrate an understanding that Mirrors has something to offer them? Do they have a desire, excitement and enthusiasm to be in Mirrors?)  Example of how you will be asked to grade an application  To those who asked to be involved in the application process, look at for an email from Ray and Stephanie about a separate meeting to go over applications more in depth.  It’s not too late if you still want to help out with applications or interviews (March 1-2)
