3 A nearby restaurant advertises BUILD YOUR OWN TOSTADAS! You and your friends decided to order. Two of you took their orders and they each gave you some money. You wrote down everyone’s order very carefully and realized that no one had ordered their Tostadas alike. You gave the cashier the list of orders, paid for each one separately and wanted to make sure everyone was charged correctly. You realized that they had charged the same amount for some of the orders. You no longer had your list of orders so you had to “re-create” the list. They had the options and prices posted on the wall. 4 If students are doing this activity and have pictures or cutouts to make the Tostadas on a poster, then PRINT the next slide only! It can be cut apart horizontally and will be for 2 posters. The small cards can just be moved around when they are looking at the possible combinations. They do not need to be placed on the poster.

6 If students are doing this activity and DO NOT have pictures or cutouts to make the Tostadas on a poster, then PRINT the next slide only! The small cards can be cut apart and grouped for each of the TOSTADA combinations. You will need one page for each poster. Fill in the chart and place them all on a poster.
