3 Objectives and Outcomes We Are Learning To: –Understand what a spreadsheet is and how they are used. –Create a very simple business spreadsheet using a limited number of calculations. What I am Looking For: –A spreadsheet containing the appropriate information that contains calculations.

4 OCR Criteria Pass Candidates will create a very simple business spreadsheet using a limited number of calculations. The functions/formulas may not be efficient, but will work. There will be sufficient row/column headings to make the spreadsheet reasonably easy to understand. There may be little evidence of formatting. There will be evidence that some of the data has been changed to obtain different results. Candidates will print out their spreadsheet although the format of these printouts might not be suitable.

7 Inputting Data Open Microsoft Excel Input the data for Task A on the Spreadsheet Assignment. 10 mins Extension Format the spreadsheet (Fonts, Shading, Borders).

8 Calculating Income & Expenditure Link to Data File Now we need to calculate income and expenditure using formulae.

9 Calculating Income & Expenditure Calculate your income and expenditure. Save your spreadsheet in your OCR National Certificate > Unit 1 > AO5 Folder. (10 mins)
