Why is the last sentence left until last? What does this sentence reveal about the mystery person’s identity? Apply: Imagine that you are blindfolded and asked to identify a common household object that is put in your hands. Write 2-3 sentences that describe what you feel without actually naming the object. Use syntax to arrange your words and sentences into a logical, purposeful order.

Task: Generate a Conversation Purple: Ch. 1-3 Brown: Ch 4-6 Red: Ch 7-9 Green: Ch 10-12 White: Ch 13-15 Blue: Ch 16-18 Black: Ch 19-21 Yellow: Ch 22-24 Orange: Ch 27-29 In your pods, create a discussion question for each of the chapters listed. Put each question on its own paper. Make these open-ended discussion questions. Think about theme, character development, imagery, diction, foils, etc. When you are done, take your questions, along with your Ch. 25 or 26 question, and submit them to the front. WRITE YOUR POD COLOR ON YOUR PAPER.

4. Fishbowl Discussion Fish (round 1): Blue, Black, Yellow, Orange Bowl (round 1): Purple, Brown, Red, Green & White  In your round, fish will be responsible for discussing the questions that were written by other students. The Bowl is responsible to follow along and be ready to add to the conversation.  Only when the fish cannot answer may they call on the bowl for assistance. When you’re the bowl, write down 2 things that people said that you thought were particularly eloquent, insightful, etc. Give a grade for how well those fish discussed. When you’re the fish, expect to chime in at least 2-3 times. At the end of your round, give yourself & your other fish a grade estimate. At 15 minutes, we’ll switch roles.
