2. –It all started when most of the stars were getting ill from no light at night time. It was time for the new stars to come and learn to brighten the sky at night. “Milky Way, we need a new planet to guide these young stars at night, while I’m asleep,” said Sun.

3. It took millions of years for Milky Way to try to make this new planet real. But her work was finally complete. All the new stars were jittery and ready to explore their new home. They couldn’t wait, but the moon wanted to wait! “Come on moon! Its not so bad!”

4. The stars zipped out of the Milky Way, and played with the older stars. They were happy, and filled with glee! “Yippie!!” They all cried. Everyone was waiting for the moon, but he didn’t come so quickly.

5. He soon zipped out with the other stars, but all the new and old stars laughed at him! He was small, square, and not very bright. “He was supposed to lead us at night? I don’t believe it!!!

6. Soon, they went with mars for the flying lesson. All the stars soon new how to fly, but Moon didn’t. He asked for help but the teacher, Mars, refused to help him. So Moon went to the Sun.

7. “Sun, oh, Sun please help me be the best I can be. I really don’t fit in you see.” The sun smiled and nodded her head. And soon, Moon could fly! He zipped, he zoomed! “I can fly!” he cried.

8. All the stars were jealous of Moon. Soon, Moon grew bigger, brighter, and rounder! Soon he was the size of your school!! “We love you Moon!” Cried all the little stars.

9. That’s how Moon came to space, and he is still loved, and he tells his story to all of the new stars that come to space. And, his old star friends, still say sorry to this day about not giving him credit to be who he wants to be.
