1. Lauren McKernin March 15, 2012 Period 5 Computer #20

2. I had only two more days of pre-school, I have been counting down since I had ten days left. I was so excited I couldn’t wait to get out of school because I knew I was going to be going to a bigger school and meet new people. I would be just starting kindergarden! The whole class was playing games. Summer was only two days away!!! Swimming, Ice cream, Vacation!!!

3. The next day came really fast. Before I knew it we were back in the classroom. Today was our last day I was happy that it was almost summer but I was going to miss the friends that I made this whole year. My mom told me I was going to see them next year when we go to the same school again. Today in school was a little different, they had a ton more games for us to play with and it was just like a little party. They said that it was a good luck in kindergarden party.

4. When the school was over and everyone went home I was so glad that I could play in the sun all day! My mom and dad were proud of me too. They said that I made it through my 1 st year of school, but they told me I still have a lot more to go. My mom wanted to congratulate me so she took me out to get ice cream. It was really good. I always loved eating ice cream on a hot day just having something cold going down your throat. I had chocolate ice cream with sprinkles. It was delicious!!!

5. The 1 st month went by really fast! It was already almost 4 th of July. We were packing up and getting ready to go to our cottage on a lake. It was really hot so my dad took me in the water. He also let me drive the boat while I was on his lap. We were all having fun in the sun! I learned a lot of things in pre-school like my Abc’s and 123’s. I am so glad my parents made me go to pre-school and I am really looking forward to kindergarden! Hey mom look at what I can do. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!! I also can do ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

6. Our vacation ended super fast! Before I knew it we were already going home and getting the things that I needed for school. I was going to miss spending time with my family but I couldn’t wait to go back to school! I get to see all my friends and I get to make new ones. School was where I always had a lot of fun, and if I never went to school I would of never met any of my friends. Mom, do you think all my friends will remember me!?

7. I woke up to my mom saying “Hey Natalie, sweetie time to get up today is your 1 st day of kindergarden.” I couldn’t believe it I was going into kindergarden, going to the bigger school! I know that summer is over but I am glad that I am going to school. The first day was awesome! I met my teacher Miss. Hood and I can already tell that this year is going to be a good one. I also saw all my friends from last year!!! I know that this year is going to be GREAT!
