6. Why I Am Taking AIG Classes: I accepted a job as a full time TD teacher, and the contract stated that I needed to complete the AIG classes within 3 years of my hire date. When I accept a job I like to learn everything I can so I can do the job properly. I agreed to serve the AIG population at my school. To accomplish this I have to know how an AIG student learns. 7. My Experiences With AIG Students: I have always worked with 4th - 12th grade students as a classroom teacher. When I accepted the TD position I learned that I would be working with K- 5th grades. I thought I would have a hard time working with the younger students, but I quickly fell in love with them. They have boundless energy and are always excited to see me. They love to learn and be challenged. This is when I realized that it is my job to make sure they never loose their hunger for learning. I am looking forward to the challenge this year.
