Use tools in Word or the Open Source tools, diction and style, to measure the complexity of your writing and gain advice on improving your style.

Allocate your time accordingly. Note that students often throw marks away by poor presentation and/or inadequate abstracts, introductions, conclusions and, especially, recommendations.
