7 The Mbombela Local Municipality has initiated a process to develop and implement a policy and strategy to respond to the pressures and threats of climate change. The Municipality appointed SRK Consulting to advise and assist in the development of the climate change policy, strategy and implementation plan.

SRK to finalise draft policy for MLM comment and then council- approval SRK to organise workshop for start of Strategy phase for November 2015 Ongoing opportunity for stakeholder input into process
