10 Contextualisation Contextualisation involves focusing learning within a context that has relevance to the students. When activities are learner-centred and focused around meaningful activities deemed relevant and worthwhile by the learner, there have been significant and measurable increases in student engagement (participation) and improvement in learning outcomes.
