TES Mission Impacts FY 99 Expense $38.6M Natural Resources $13.7M T&E - 36% (need  $8M/yr)

20 Sikes Act Coordination Workshop - Army In 1995 Army required completion of Endangered Species Management Plans (ESMPs) at installations In 1997 Sikes Act amendments required Integrated Natural Resources Management Plans (INRMPs) at 184 installations ESMPs may or may not be incorporated in INRMPs ESMPs and/or INRMP accomplish “special management or protection” of species and habitat ESMPs/INRMPs allow FWS to consider precluding designation of Critical Habitat on installations
