App Review By: Brady, Dylan, Caleb, and Michael

Career/ Resume Everyday people need help with both their Career and or Resume Most people growing up, unless their parents taught them, don’t even know how to do a Resume. Picking your Career is probably one of the biggest decisions in your life. Since these are the case people have invented Apps to help!!

Our Apps Career Star- Resume builder/creator Glass Door- Job Search, Salary finder, Location finder, etc. Beyond.com- Job Search and helper Quick Resume- Fast and Easy Resume builder

Career Star - Description It has information blocks that all you do is fill them in and the Resume Star puts them together in logical order and completes your resume. Primary Audience: Designed for people 19-21 years of age Secondary Audience: People in search for a job that need a resume Very Simple step by instructions For building a Resume the App did a good job of trying to make it Fun It is visually appealing as well

Glass Door It is designed to find jobs, companies hiring, places where jobs are available, salaries in that field, reviews of the job, and more Primary Audience: Adults in search for a job Secondary Audience: Kids or College age looking for first job Very straight forward and simple search set up It really is very interesting, I would not say fun but you do learn a lot with every search The simplicity of the App makes it visually appealing

Beyond.com It finds your location and you type in what job you are looking for and it pulls up all the job openings for that career you are looking for Primary Audience: I’d say it’s for older people or tech friendly people Secondary Audience: People who have a business so they can look up openings for their positions It’s difficult, it has taken me days to use it and I still don’t fully understand how to use it

Beyond.com … continued No it is not fun to use at all it honestly sucks nothing makes since at all and it is super slow and it goes in and out and when it goes out it deletes everything that you just did and you have to start all over It is basic and boring looking

Quick Resume Build your Resume in a professional format Primary Audience: All ages looking for a career Secondary Audience: Those who don’t need a Resume but are looking to see how one is made Step by step instructions Not Fun, but simple Bright colors and organized layout, makes it visually appealing
