2. An email LISTSERV is a group of users of similar interests/topics that can correspond with the group with questions or issues and receive help and advice from others. SunGard Higher Education has over 100 to choose from. Visit http://lists.sungardhe.com/ to signup for the LISTERV(s) that would be of benefit to you.http://lists.sungardhe.com/ Click on the LISTERV you want to join.

3. Click Join (Name of LISTSERV). You will need to sign up for and confirm each LISTSERV separately.

4. Enter your name (and email address for first time SunGard LISTSERV participants). Then you will set your preferences. Click Join (Name of LISTSERV) to receive a an email confirmation that you must complete to validate your email. Regular – You will receive an email every time anyone in the group emails the LISTSERV. Digest – You will receive a daily digest containing the subjects of all activity from the previous day. This section only applies when you send emails to the LISTSERV. If you will be away from the office (if an Out of Office response is active), it is good etiquette to disable mail delivery to prevent your Out of Office response being sent to the LISTSERV.

5. Upon confirming the LISTSERV, you will have joined the LISTSERV and can edit your settings (on a group by group basis) and post messages from the Subscriber’s Corner. Note: Settings must be set for each LISTSERV.

6. You may create your own post to the LISTSERV here. Please enter a relevant subject and continue with your appropriate message. Attachments are not permitted with the LISTSERV. Your message should be posted within a few minutes and you will receive a confirmation and/or copy of the post (depending on your settings). Replies to the message may be sent to the LISTSERV for everyone to read or to the sender only. Items of general knowledge could be of benefit to others if sent through the LISTSERV.
