SBA Mentors Wanted!!! 2 SBA Program Description SBA Seniors @ Gertz-Ressler & Ouchi High Schools SBA participants and their mentors meet with the objective of assisting students prepare their college applications and understand the admissions process. The strategy to meet this objective is based on mentorship and the completion of SBA curriculum activities. SBA curriculum activities include: Application Overviews, Mock Application Profiles, Mock Interviews, College Resume, and Presentations from Admission Officers. Program Saturday Session Dates: September 2009 – December 2009 (Exact dates are T.B.A.) SBA Juniors @ Gertz-Ressler & Ouchi High Schools SBA participants and their mentors meet with the objective of preparing students to become competitive future college applicants and instills basic financial literacy. The strategy to meet this objective is based on mentorship and the completion of SBA Merrill Lynch curriculum activities. SBA curriculum activities include: Academic and Personal Development Workshops, the creation of a College Action Plan, a College Field Trip, and Academic & Industry Guest Speakers. Program Saturday Session Dates: October 2009 – May 2010 (Exact dates are T.B.A.) Mentor Applications Deadline: September 4, 2009 Mentor Selections Announced: September 14, 2009 (SBA Seniors) & September 21, 2009 (SBA Juniors) E-mail questions to: sba@riordanalumni.comsba@riordanalumni.com
