5. Best Place Many places to be –David’s desire (Psalm 26:8, 12) –His priority (Psalm 27:4) –His longing (Psalm 84:10; 122:1)

6. Best Place Paul’s desire –Remained in Troas (Acts 20:6, 7) –Worshiped on the Lord’s day –Worship with faithful saints when traveling?

7. Best People Christians are the best –Children of God, not the Devil (Galatians 3:26, 27; Ephesians 5:1) –Lord’s brethren (Hebrews 2:10-13) –Lights (Philippians 2:15) –Not in darkness (Ephesians 5:8-11)

8. Best People I want to be where they are –We may know the rich, powerful, famous, educated, distinguished etc. –Best are Christians –Our companions (Psalm 119:63) –Song: “Blest Be The Tie”

9. Best Provisions Nourishment for the soul –Jesus taught us this (Matthew 4;4) –Seek the proper food (John 6:27) –Can be filled (Psalm 107:9) –Seek righteousness (Matthew 5:6) –The Word of Life (John 6:63)

10. Best Provisions Provided in the assembly –God’s Word, not TV, ball game, etc. –Do we feed our soul like our body? –Children in school for seven hours, five days, nine months a year –Yet, we expect they can be fed spiritually in one sermon a week

11. Best Provisions Be prepared for the Lord’s return –Hunger as David (Psalm 42:1, 2) –Real food for the soul

12. Best Promises Depend on my faithfulness –Only those who endure (Matthew 24:12, 13) –“Faithful unto death” (Revelation 2:10) –Reward guaranteed

13. Best Promises No better promise and reward –No gold, silver, etc. is more valuable –He will claim us (Titus 2:14) –Are we eagerly seeking Him? (Hebrews 11:6)
