8 Overall effectiveness - Grade 2 In judging the rigour and accuracy of the Service’s self-assessment process the following judgement was made: “The inspection team had a high degree of confidence in the reliability of their self assessment process.” (highest judgement) In judging the Service’s capacity to make further improvements the following judgements were made: “The provider has demonstrated that it is in a good position to make improvements.” (highest judgement)

15 Get buy-in Have a vision - make it exciting Consult widely in developing and updating the ILT strategy Nurture champions Task managers with agreeing targets Support – it’s difficult Celebrate good practice

16 Rigorous self-assessment Updated SAR comprehensively identifies strengths and weaknesses in ILT Robust action plan in place to address weaknesses Evidence of actions – will demonstrate improvement over time
