3. Matthew 26-27 The standard for bad days had, of course, been set long before Cholo’s time. The 24 hours preceding Christ’s death are inarguably without equal. The following exercise will help us appreciate the meaning of D&C 88:6 that teaches: “He that ascended up on high as also he descended below all things, that he might be in all and through all things…” Jesus’ Trials

Chandler concludes “The pages of human history present no stronger case of judicial murder than the trial and crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth, for the simple reason that all forms of law were outraged and trampled under foot in the proceedings instituted against Him” (The Trial of Jesus from a Lawyer’s Standpoint, 216, quoted in Talmage, Jesus the Christ, 645-8).
