8.  Be prepared with your material.  Be on time!  Stay in assigned seat.  Keep busy sewing.  Clean work area.  No candy, chips, or drinks.  You can visit when sewing.

9. Things to keep in mind so you will NOT run over your finger. Keep fingers away from needle plate Don’t push your foot pedal too fast. Slow down! NEVER sew while your teacher is trying to help thread your needle. You may run over her finger. OUCH!
