2. Lions African lions are the second largest cats in the world. Lions eat baby elephants, giraffes, hippopotamus and Cape buffalo. A group of female lions are called a pride and a group of male lions are called a coalition.

3. Hippos Hippos rest in water to keep their temperature down. Hippos eat grass, water plants and vegetables. A group of hippos is known as a herd pod dale or bloat. The name hippo means river horse.
