Introduction  An author is someone who writes original stories, interviews, or paragraphs. They inform or entertain the public, primarily through print media. In the future an author may have to publish using a kindle or have their writing available to publish online, They may also have the opportunity to reach a wider audience through electronic publishing or produce more writing using voice to text technology.

Training and Education  To be an author, you have to go to college and get a degree. Recommended classes are: Journaling, Communications, and English. You should also love to read. Authors get most of their research from reading, so keep reading. It’s an essential skill for an author.

Equipment and Technology  Authors use creativity, paper, pencils, and computers as their everyday equipment The technology that most impacts their job would most likely be computers. Computers are why authors use to type up their creations. If writers didn’t use a computer, books wouldn’t be in print, newspapers would only exist in manuscript, and Google wouldn’t answer in text.

Impact on Humanity  Authors teach, inform, and entertain the public with print media. Authors have a big impact on humanity because they cause a lot of learning. Kids learn a lot of things from books and without authors we wouldn’t know a lot of things we do today.

Transition between jobs In the future an author may have to publish using a kindle or have their writing available to publish online. They may also have the opportunity to reach a wider audience through electronic publishing or produce more writing using voice to text technology. In the future an author publishes mainly online and fans download books onto kindles.

Schooling and Special Skills  Authors still need a college degree. The also still need to take the same classes. But authors need to take computer classes and online publishing classes. It is still very important for authors to like reading.

Technology changes.  Many books have been replaced by kindles but books still remain. A lot of people are on computers more often. School books are in book form.

Conclusion  Authors have added more classes to their education. There is more online publishing. The benefit of these changes is that more people are able to read books. The disadvantage is that there are more electronic books and less paper books.
