3 The Alexandru Ioan Cuza University Of Iasi it is the oldest higher education institute in Romania the first modern university in the country, dating back the 1860’s it was founded in the presence of King Alexandru Ioan Cuza consists in a variety of 15 faculties, from those dedicated to sciences to others that study politics, theology and philosophy

4 Architecturally, the University represents a combination between baroque and classical styles.

5 The Hall of Echoing Footsteps Situated at the entrance of the University Palace, The Hall of Echoing Footsteps is a well known Romanian modern art exhibition. The paintings reflect the history and the present of Romanians.
