2. Objective
To promote and elevate quality real estate research in Asia-Pacific
To strengthen the links between real estate researchers from Asia-Pacific and other parts of the world

3. Development
First started in 2003 as joint symposium organized by the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and National University of Singapore (NUS)
HKU-NUS symposium attracts high quality research papers and is becoming a platform of choice for real estate researchers in Asia

4. Topics Securitized real estate Housing markets Mortgage markets
Commercial real estate development and investment
Institutional economic analysis of the real estate markets
Intra and inter region real estate investments

5. Presentations Dedicated presentations and designated discussants
Twelve to fifteen papers will be selected by the Program Committee
The Program Committee comprises editorial broad members of JREFE (The Journal of Real Estate Finance & Economics) and other renowned real estate researchers from the US, Europe, Australia, and Asia

6. Special Issue in Prestigious Journal
All papers will be independently reviewed for their suitability for publication in a special issue of The Journal of Real Estate Finance & Economics (JREFE)
