1 Finishing your ENTC_4600 Project Project Checkoff - Apr 11th and 13th »7pm to 10pm, signup on my door. Final Report - Due at Checkoff Final Oral Presentation:  see syllabus.

2 Project Checkoff Final report is due at the time the projected is checked. Make appointment with your course instructor to check your project. All projects must be setup in Laboratories.

5 Final Report

6 Content given 1st day of class Formal technical report  Bound, table of contents, page numbers, references, etc. All software, schematics, etc. should also be submitted as appendices or separate document. Specs., descriptions, diagrams must be more detailed than the proposal. Include test plan/checkoff sheet, even if you haven’t checked off yet. Management parts must show original estimate vs. actual. Project/Mgmt. Analysis

7 Summary/conclusion about overall project Discuss discrepancies between planned and actual (operation, specs, cost, time,...) Discuss failures to meet specs. (if any) Discuss alternatives that may have or could be taken.  “If I were to do this again, I would...”  “If I had another six weeks,...”  “The project could be further enhanced by...”

8 Final Oral Presentation

9 Formal Sign up for time Contents given 1st day of class. Must attend all presentations given during the session in which you are presenting.

11 Important Comments Overload/Protection fuses Use wire ties - no messy lose wires Use heat shrink tubing where possible Use proper wire connections Use solder where possible - no substandard wire connections No exposed copper - prevent shock hazards
