Course Description zCS370 introduces students to basic concepts and methods of artificial intelligence from a computer science perspective, including knowledge representation methods and techniques, Problem solving, structures and strategies for state space search and Heuristic search techniques.

Course Objectives zLearn about the widely applied techniques of logical representation languages and search techniques for problem solving. zFamiliarity with different applications of AI such as Robotics, Pattern Recognition, expert systems. zUnderstand the principles and mechanisms underlying various kinds of intelligent processes zHave an awareness of the philosophical issues that arise within Artificial Intelligence zHave an awareness of key issues in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science that will continue to challenge researchers in the future.
