4 Bob Burnquist Bob Burnquist was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on October 10, 1976. He started skating when he was 10 years old and got hooked on it. He started to compete in only 2 years and turned pro 2 years after that. He won his first medal in vert at Slam City Jam and has won 10 medals since. He is one of the biggest names in skateboarding and is up there with Tony Hawk, Shaun White, Danny Way, and Bucky Lasek.
