2. 2 High Level Goals Long term goals (3-5 years) –Improve the academic quality of the science and technology projects within the classroom in K12 –Promote a mentor system with the support of researchers, professionals and university students to assist students in the preparation of their projects. –Strengthen capacities of technical teams in the 24 provinces Short term goals (1-2 years) –Establish courses to increase the ability of teachers in developing experimental methods. –Promote interaction between teachers, students and researchers. –Promote the use of scientific and technology experimentation in the schools. –Provide incentives for children to continue studies of sciences and mathematics –Improve scientific review and judging
