The digestive system is home to many forms of cancer. Stomach rumbling can happen at any time, not just when you are hungry. Every two weeks, the human stomach produces a new layer of mucous lining, otherwise the stomach would digest itself. The human liver performs 500 different functions. The liver is the largest and heaviest organ. Liver cells take several years to replace themselves.
