Threatened and may become extinct

What is endangered?

Something no longer in existence

What is extinct?

Prairie dogs, bison, and deer are found in this biome.

What is the grasslands?

This biome has few animals that live there due to the cold climate.

What is the tundra biome?

This biome has the most variety of animals because of it’s climate.

What is the tropical rain forest?

Name the biome that doesn’t have many plants and “why”.

What is a desert? (It lacks water.)

This biome has the most variety of plants. Explain.

What is the tropical rainforest? (heavy rainfall and warm climate)

This biome is the most diverse. Explain.

What is the tropical rain forest? (Warm temperatures/more rain)

This biome is in Nebraska and has wide open prairies.

What are the grasslands of Nebraska?

Kinds of grasses in grasslands depend on this.

What is the amount of rainfall( precipitation?

This biome is found around the equator.

Where are the tropical rain forests found?

The Midwest is covered by this type of biome.

What are the grasslands?

The U.S. has only one state that is partly covered by a tundra.

What is Alaska?

This biome covers the very top of the world.

What is the tundra?

This biome might have a polar bear living in it. Explain.

What is the tundra? (Polar bears have thick fur.)

This biome has the driest climate.

What is the desert?

This biome has heavy rainfall and is warm all year long.

What is a tropical rain forest?

This biome has little rain, long cold winters and cool summers.

What is the tundra?

This biome is dry and can be either hot or cold.

What is the desert?

This biome is very cold but has lots of trees.

What is the taiga?

This biome is associated with the prairie.

What is a grassland?

This is the place where living things interact with their environment.

What is an ecosystem?

This is what you call an ecosystem that covers a huge area.

What is a biome?

Humans taking away/destroying animal habitats threaten this.

What threatens biodiversity the most?

Different types of frogs that live in an ecosystem is an example of this.

What is biodiversity?

Make your wager

The largest number of people live in these biomes.

What are biomes that have abundant plant and animal resources?
