15 Programs: Kids Don’t Float State of Alaska Office of Boating Safety purchases lifejackets and provides peer educator curriculum. McDonalds™ Ice Cream Certificates Free ice cream certificates at McDonalds™ for children wearing lifejackets – certificates mailed each spring to communities*. Boating Education classes Provided by the State of Alaska, the Alaska Marine Safety Education Association and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Vessel Safety Checks and RBS Visitor Program Free – provided by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. *Communities without a local McDonald’s™ do not receive certificates.
