2. ABOUT US Established in 2012, oikos Newcastle is a new member to the oikos International family. Our goal is to incorporate issues surrounding sustainable development into the academic study of business and management. To achieve our goal, we constantly develop ideas to raise the interest and awareness of sustainability. We believe that every step, however small, can make a difference.

3. THE PROJECT Sustainability should not just be learnt as a theory. In oikos Newcastle, we seek to shape our thoughts and ideas by incorporating real world work experiences. Therefore, we invite professional individuals to share us their stories and experiences to develop case studies. Not only do we aim to build up a strong connection between the worlds of academic and practice, it is also our goal to develop a global network of individuals working in the field of sustainability. It is an opportunity to do more, do better and become a member of this global sustainable network.
