3. Minimum Standards Define minimum standards for ccTLDs? Solves political problem Not really useful –Particularly in Europe – most would meet such standards

Solution: Develop a “registry showcase” Resource site filled with feature projects documented Documented in detail so experiences can be reused by other registries –Conceptual overview –Implementation notes –Contact details Benefits: –Not a best practice – removes problem of being “judged” –Removes value judgments on what is good or not –Useful, unlike minimum standards –Regularly updatable, unlike formally approved standards document
