7. Landscaping Updates Current company (Professional Grounds) has been unable/unwilling to maintain turf areas. Plantings done by Professional Grounds are not doing well – their own representative questioned the types of plants used Suggest going with Blade Runners at same price, see if we can get better results Need to improve front sign area ($5000) Need to create drainage and garden area at side of Buttonwood top sidewalk ($1000) Need to get significant soil and turf improvements on Buttonwood Hill and behind lower Buttonwood homes

Parking Lot improvements Suggestions have been made to remove some parking islands and install new guest spots – Estimates range from $5,000-10,000 per spot, cluster does not have the resources to do this Several owners have suggested adding stripes to the parking spots – Board was waiting until next scheduled parking lot seal (2013) to have the spaces re-measured, striped, and numbers repainted, but if there is enough interest (and the estimates are in line with budget realities) we could do this earlier – Requires a day or more of all cars parking at South Lakes High school
