ANACOM as the Recognised National Standardisation Body for Communications and Electromagnetic Compatibility (ONS/ANACOM) ANACOM is recognised by the National Standardisation Body as the National Sectoral Standardisation Body - ONS/ANACOM - for the following sectors: COMMUNICATIONS (TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND POSTAL) ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY ONS/ANACOM co-ordinates and supports at national level the involvement of the different interested economic agents in the relevant standardisation activities of the European Standardisation Bodies (ETSI, CEN, CENELEC) and of the International Standardisation Bodies (IEC e ISO)

ONS/ANACOM and ETSI/CEN/CENELEC ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) ONS/ANACOM realizes, for the National Standardisation Body, all the consultations at national level for Public Enquiry / Voting of European Standards of ETSI. CEN ( Comité Européen de Normalisation) ONS/ANACOM co-ordinates and supports the national participation in the following Technical Committee of CEN: CEN TC 331Postal Services
