Activity Description Akin to “current events” in grade school, this activity involves students’ regular (e.g. weekly) identification and analysis of news events and “people in the news” through the “filter” of the REFLECT competencies. The activity reinforces the students’ evolving understanding and appreciation for the competencies through short weekly assignments and brief discussions.
