9. W HAT ARE THE K EY P OINTS IN M ATHEMATICS ? Kindergarten – Fifth Grade Solid foundation in whole numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals. Kdg. Standards follow recommendations from National Research Council’s Early Math Panel report Hands-on learning is emphasized.
