3 On 21 st March 2009 3 ILC from Osaka 3 - - - Mainstream Association - Muchu Independent Center - Partner Independent Living Center came to visit DPI/AP office

4 Mamber from Japan 4 Leader of CIL in Japan they are PWDs 5 Personal Assistant They came to visit and exchange they experience CIL in Japan.

5 20 participant from Independent Living Center of Thailand came to DPI/AP office from - TIL - Nonthaburi Independent Living Center - Nakonpathom Independent Living Center - Phuthamonton Independent Living Center - Bangkok Independent Living Center - 1 from For Friend 2000 - 1 from Bangkok disability coordinator - 3 DPI/AP staff & 2 Personal Assistants

7 DVD PA service. They shear experience how to have daily life with PA. Ms.Katsuya Fujiwara from Mainstream Association. He has severe disability he has independent for his life everyday he stay with PA 24 hour.

8 Mr. Hirashita from Machu Independent Living Center (Osaka) He is a Leader of person with disability in Japan. He shear his experience how he working on disability movement together with partner CIL in Kansai aria. The important is friendly and find the same issue.

9 Q & A Question from Thai Person With Disability Q: How many day to train Personal Assistant in CIL? A: 3 day for basic of PA after that they will lean from case by case. Q: What did you fear about PA? A: I fear when PA didn’t come because I can not stay alone if I don’t have PA. Q: How different to pay for PA who has work for take care of person with disability and who go to working outside. A: The same depend on hour do they work.

10 Q: In Japan 100% of person with disability they are member of CIL? A: Not 100% They have many Person With Disability Organization such as Sport Association and another. Q: If PA do another thing Person With Disability they don’t like it how we can do? A: We can talk with PA and change another person. Q: IL member everyone need to stay alone? A: Yes, because if you stay alone you will find really problem and really need such as PA service, Accessibility accommodation e.g.
