You can : Use the up and down arrow keys to scroll through the list of scheduled patients. View PCI via the PCI button. Locate a specific patient quickly using the FIND PT button. See any scheduling notes/information the schedulers have entered by using the VIEW APPT button. View pertinent information on the day of surgery as to the surgeon’s progress.

Use your space bar and enter keys together to pull in the patient you had highlighted at the View Patient’s Record field. Utilize the buttons on the right hand side to navigate thru PCI.

Enter the patient name, last name first in the Jump To Name field and it will automatically highlight that specific patient for you, this will allow you to avoid scrolling through the list of patients.

5. 5 HCA Information Technology & Services - Copyright © 2010 Check scheduling notes for any special requests or additional information you provided to the schedulers. Highlight the patient. Click VIEW APPT button. Enter down to the Comments field and enter “Y” to see the OR Comments that the scheduler would have added; special equipment, product information, surgeon availability information.
