1 Transfer Articulation Look Up Cheat Sheet 1

2 To check and see if a course has been articulated and is already in the system, follow the steps below: 1.Access Banner form SHATATR 2.Enter the Institution number 3.If you do not know the Institution number, select the drop down arrow Select Drop down arrow SHATATR 2

3 4. Select Source Background Form (SOISBGI) Select 5.Tab to the Name field 6.Type the college name you are searching for. This form is case sensitive so it is recommended to search on part of the name using the percent sign. 3

4 7. Press F8 to execute the query. You may get more than one college to choose from. 8. Select the appropriate College by double clicking in the “Type” field. Double Click 4

5 9.Result: The Institution number is automatically populated. 5

7 12. Filter for the course you are looking for by pressing F7. Tab to the subject field and enter the subject you are looking for, then tab to the course field and enter the course number you are searching for. 13. Execute the query by pressing F8. 7

8 14. The result is the Auburn Equivalent Course. Result 8

9 15. If there is no course equivalent, no course will appear in the Course equivalent section and you will get the message below: If no articulation exists No course equivalent 9

10 10 How to read Groups If there is a number in the Group Code field, you must use the arrow on the right hand side of the block and scroll down to see which course is attached. The courses with the same number attached are the equivalent to the courses in the section below. Group Code Scroll Bar

11 11 Result from scrolling down Notice the Group Code is the same and the corresponding course is attached. There are no courses listed in the Equivalent Course section because they are attached to the primary course which is always the first course in the grouping.

12 Has a transfer course been articulated? 1.Use SHATATR to select the transfer school (use the school number or the dropdown box) 2.Next block 3.Filter for the transfer course (F7, enter transfer subject and number, F8) No equivalent course showing  No articulation entered Group code blank & equivalent course showing  This is the articulated AU course Group code showing  Scroll to see attached transfer courses & articulated AU group. 12
