11 Need a crash course in using computers? 1. Can you word process a document? 2. Can you search the Internet using a Search Engine such as Google? 3. Have you sent and received email? If your answer to these questions is “NO” you are advised to attend Introductory Computing 18th, 19th and 20th February between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm Magill campus Contact Cathy Stuart (8302 4423) or Marie Stevenson (83024478) to register.

12 Using Computers at UniSA  In the Are you ready to study in …? session in Orientation week there will be a demonstration of important sites you will use on UniSA’s internal network. For hands-on experience with the Uni’s network come to an Online@UniSA session. Register online at the Orientation Activities Site which is linked from your Program Home Page.  Can you type at least 40 words per minute? If not, you are advised to Google “typing tutor” to find an online program that will teach you how to touch type. Choose one that suits you and improve your typing speed before university starts.
