2 Culture – the integrated system of socially acquired values, beliefs, and rules of conduct which define the range of accepted behaviors in any given society. Cheating - any act of lying, deception, fraud, trickery, imposture, or imposition. Cheating characteristically is employed to create an unfair advantage, usually in one's own interest, and often at the expense of others.

3 We are all guilty of cheating at some point and time in our lives. Maybe some of us reading this presentation are even guilty of it right now. The value of integrity in humanity has declined within society. Likewise, the value of academic integrity has also declined.

4 Cheating Within The Educational System The Internet makes multiple resources available for cheating on virtually any topic. Step by step instructions, illustrations and reviews are provided. You can now even get cliff notes and other providers to send information directly to your cell phone.

6 Cheating Within the Educational System Cheating within the academic system only cheats one’s education. Students as wells as instructors are guilty of this.

28 Cheating is an individual trait that is now socially accepted. Rehabilitation for this social problem is going to have to target both our society and us as individuals.

29 Records shows that cheating and scandals have been a part of our world’s past for as long as history has been documented. This presentation could go on with a list forever. I am sure you have even thought of a few examples that I did not mention.

30 We must work together on this problem to reach a solution.
