2 What are the 4 P’s???? Be Prompt Be Prepared Be Polite Be Productive

3 What is prompt ? On time. Do things in a timely manner.

4 What is Prepared? Be ready:  have materials  know what to do

5 What is polite? Always treat others with respect.

6 What is productive? Do your work. Do your best.

7 What are the animal rules? Animals stay in the tanks for their safety and yours. Hi, I am Princess Buttercup. I love to be at school because students are fun to watch.

8 What are school rules? No gum/food. No cell phones. No mp3’s/ipods. No permanent markers. No horseplay.

9 What are classroom procedures? Only pencils in class. Raise your hand to talk. Listen when others are speaking.

10 What other procedures? Be in seat and ready to work when bell rings. Bring Science folder every day. Ask to use bathroom. Water bottles are O.K.

11 What if I am absent? Check the “While You Were Out” crate. Talk to classmate or teacher.

12 What about my grade???? Homework = 25% Tests, labs, projects = 75% 25% 75%

13 Homework & classwork are not accepted late without an excused absence. Labs & Projects will be marked down 15% if late.

14 Who determines my grade? You do.

15 What are consequences for poor behavior? Penalty box. Detention/Phone call home. VP referral. Suspension from class or school. Behavior contract.
