The reason a lack of English master programme when it seems to be a need for HEIs to have such programmes widening the offer of the Faculty by preparing the first full Master programme in English fulfilling the goals of the project

The objective To provide a modern and innovative programme that will be interesting for both Polish and foreign students and will give them opportunity to find a job as specialists in the field of water resources management

5 Development of MSc study program “Information Systems in Water Resources Management” Ministerial Standards (1) study duration – at least 3 semesters total number of hours – at least 900 total number of ECTS points – at least 90 subjects of the basic (core) content group – at least 120 hours and 13 ECTS points subjects of the directional content groups – at least 60 hours and 3 ECTS points

7 Development of MSc study program “Information Systems in Water Resources Management” Faculty requirements, conditions and presumptions (1) FORMAL study duration – 4 semesters (first one – 10 weeks) total number of hours – up to 1000 total number of ECTS points – 120 practical and/or laboratory hours – at least 50% (elective subjects – at least 30% hours) (compulsory subjects)

9 Development of MSc study program “Information Systems in Water Resources Management” Programme content – general issues based on the existing subjects – both English and Polish consulted by Norwegian partners – if it is interesting for foreign students consulted by potential employers – if a graduate be attractive for the labour market acceptance by the Faculty board – formal requirement
