8 According to FBI, eco terrorists committed more then 1100 criminal acts and caused property damage estimated at least $110 million since 1976

9 International Examples? 1988 Pan American’s London/NY flight 103 was destroyed over Scotland. Killed 259 on board and 11 on ground. More injured. 1996 truck bomb US military barrack in Dhahran Saudi Arabia. 19 killed and 250 injured 1993 World Trade Center killed 4 2001 World Trade Center killed 3000

11 Cyberterrorism New kind of terrorism makes use of high technology, especially computers and the internet, in the planning and carrying out of terrorist attacks. Coined in the 80’s Possibilities: air traffic control systems to cause plans to crash; power grids; banks, stock exchange

12 Narcoterrorism: Link between drug traffickers and insurgents. Involvement of terrorist organizations and insurgents in the trafficking of narcotics. Insurgents receive $$ for supporting and the traffickers receive protection.
