She is caring for a new baby and a special needs child, both of which she loves dearly, but recognizes that they need a lot of attention. She is tired but keeps pushing forward. Actions- She has been asking for Melody to have a one-on-one assistant for years. Mom doesn’t give up easily and is happy to see that Melody is finally getting additional help. Sayings- She gives Mrs. Billups a piece of her mind when she finds out that she was treating Melody like a baby. She sets the record straight that Melody is smart and has potential… she just needs to be treated as such.
