7. What does it look like?  Shared ideas that come from within the disciplines  Based on shared elements – inductive approach What concepts do these units share? Are we teaching similar skills? Do the two units have shared ideas in terms of concepts, skills, attitudes, and standards?  The key is to look for concepts, topics, skills, attitudes, standards, and habits of mind that occur in both subjects  Integration should begin with two disciplines and then build from there
