Genesis 2:10-14

NOTESNOTES  River represents Christ  Eden represents Heaven  The Water represents the WORD  The Garden represents the Church  (Gen 2:10) And Christ went out of Heaven to give the Word to the Church and from thence he was parted, and became into four heads.

(Gen 3:6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. (Gen 3:7) And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

NOTESNOTES  What roughly emerges, if all four rivers are connected to the Great Rift fault system, is a complex river network emerging from a common point of origin that flows both north and south, with each north and south extension splitting into two separate streams, for a total of four rivers. That adds up to four separate heads.  Of course, to propose such a reconstruction one would have to assume that the present day headwaters of the Tigris and Euphrates were not the main headwaters in ancient times. It is possible that there could have been older main tributaries previously flowing from Lebanon which were, at that time, the main headwaters of those two rivers.

NOTESNOTES The name of the first is Pison  (Gen 2:11) The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;  First, let's identify the geographical region of the Pison river. The Bible says: "Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold" and gives us two good clues. There is a recently discovered "Fossil River" that runs from the western mountains of Saudi Arabia towards Kuwait. This now long since dry riverbed was detected by satellite imaging. Many have speculated that this may be the ancient Pison, as it has been dry since between about 3,500 to 2,000 BC

NOTESNOTES The name of the first is Pison  (Gen 2:11) The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;  This river specks of the Gold connection. The only Gospel to mention Gold is Matthew (4 times)  Gold is connected with kingdoms (USA)  Matthew sees him as the KING

NOTESNOTES  (Gen 2:13) And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.  The Gihon is spoken of as: "Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia" which is the African land area west of the Red Sea and southward. Of course, the political boundaries of what we call Ethiopia today were certainly different in Biblical times, but the general area is correct. And if a river formerly flowed down what is now the Red Sea basin

NOTESNOTES  (Gen 2:13) And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.  The word means to “gush forth” it brings the idea of fast moving  Mark’s gospel is the fastest Gospel.  14 of 16 chapters start with the word “AND”  42 times the word “straightway is used.  It’s the shortest gospel

NOTESNOTES  (Gen 2:14) And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.  (Dan 10:4-6) And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel; Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

NOTESNOTES  (Gen 2:14) And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.  The word translated means to bring forth fruit.  (Joh 15:1-2) I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

I.The Bodies of Water II.The Beasts of the Throne

(Rev 4:6) And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lionthe second beast like a calf the third beast had a face as a manfourth beast was like a flying eagle (Rev 4:7) And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

THE FACE OF THE LION representing the King King of kings (Rev 17:14) These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

THE FACE OF THE OX representing the Servant (Php 2:7) But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

THE FACE OF THE OX representing the Servant (Mar 10:45) For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

THE FACE OF THE MAN representing the Humanity (Gal 4:4) But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
