2 What is Media? Media is the use of communication channels through which news, entertainment, education, data, and promotional messages are spread to the masses. Examples of Media: includes broadcasting- TV and radio, print, film, and Internet.

3 examples of Medium/visual aids Examples: power point, speeches, posters, essays, newspapers, magazines, pictures, charts & graphs, brochures, billboards, videos, commercials, plays, advertisements, social media etc.

4 What is the Purpose of the Message? To inform you? To persuade you to buy something? To persuade you to take a certain action? To entertain you?

If Brianna is giving a presentation about how many children die every year from lung cancer, which medium would best enhance her presentation?
