6 Renovation/Building- The Building Department can be a resource for understanding any code issues.  Understanding the differences between major renovations or a simple repair.  Looking at a set of plans and knowing what the project entails.  Guiding Community Development members through the scheduling of inspections.  Working alongside contractors and Community Development on construction issues when questions arise.

7 Problems with Contractors- Can intercede on difficulties with contractors.  Will make inspections for correctness in construction.  Make sure project is on time per the permit expiration.  Have legal remedies for ongoing construction issues.  Can make sure final inspections are performed for completeness of project.
