4. What is Interact? Interact is Rotary International’s service club
for young people ages 12 to 18.
Interact clubs are sponsored by individual
Rotary clubs, which provide support and
guidance, but they are self governing and
self supporting.
Club membership varies greatly. Clubs
can be single gender or mixed, large or small.
They can draw from the student body of a
single school, more schools or members
from the same community.

7. Polio Interact Club Lahore Garrison:
*Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Participated in the NIDs
President, Interact Club of Lahore Garrison, Aaesha Shehzad, along with IPDG Shehzad Ahmed and other members of Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison participated in the National Immunization Days (NID)in order to work for Polio Eradication.
Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison arranged a polio camp at JinnahMedical Complex, Lahore where they administered polio drops to children under five years of age.  The children were also given polio badges and ‘End Polio Now’ pencils.

9. Polio Visit of village Chak 73/RB Karianwala, Faisalabad:
Polio Immunization and Dengue Awareness Camps:
*President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Aaesha Shehzad attended Polio
Immunization and Dengue Awareness Camps on September 21, at Karim
Park, Ravi Road, Lahore.
*The camps were organized by Rotaract and Rotary clubs of Lahore Shaheen.
President Interact Lahore Garrison administered Polio drops to children and
gave them ‘End Polio Now’ Pencils and badges.
*IPDG Shehzad Ahmed was also present at the camp.
Visit of village Chak 73/RB Karianwala, Faisalabad:
*President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Aaesha Shehzad and Immediate Past District Interact Representative Fatima Shehzad visited village Chak 73/RB Karianwala, Faisalabad on the Eid day along with Past District Governor Shehzad Ahmed and Past President Innerwheel Club of Lahore Garrison Dr. Maimoona Ali.
*They spent time with the children and distributed polio social mobilization items such as polio mugs, badges, pencils and story books among them..

10. Polio Polio Immunization and Awareness Walk
President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison participated in Polio Camp organized by Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison. Rotarians fron US, PDG Joe & Lori Pratt and Rotarian Steve & Deb (D-7870) also participated in our fight against Polio.

11. Polio Walk:
Interact Club Jhang Saddar and Interact Club Jhang Garrison Participated in
the ‘End Polio Now’ walk organized by Rotary Club Jhang Saddar.
There were about 200 total participants, President Rotary Club Jhang Saddar
Ch Muhammad Mushtaq &AG Umer khan were also present at the occasion.
Many Pamphlets were distributed among the general public to emphasize the importance of removing polio.

12. Interact Club Red Wood:
Interact Club Of Redwood organized a team to play Basketball at LUMS Sports fest from 14th to 16th of Jan.
In total, 90 teams participated in event
Interactors also participated in “Rotary Swim Marathon”

13. Dengue & Water Awareness
Dengue Awareness Campaign:
*Interact Club Jhang Saddar & Ineract Club Jhang Saddar Organized Dengue & save Water Awareness Campaign. *They Installed a camp at Yousaf Shah road and distributed the Pamphlets regarding importance of removing dengue and saving the Water. *President RC Jhang Saddar Ch Muhammad Mushtaq, DIR Muhammad Talha Mushtaq, along with other Interact District team members present at the occasion.

14. Tree Plantation
* President Interact Club TobaTek Singh Taimoor Asghar, along with other club members planted trees at Jinnah Public School Toba Tek Singh. * About 100 new trees were planted by the club members. * Interact Club Jhang Saddar planted 200 new trees at lala zar colony Jhang. * President IC Jhang Saddar Wajih Ahmed, DIR Muhammad Talha Mushtaq along with other District Team members were present at the occasion.

15. Distribution of Eid Gifts
Interact Club Jhang Saddar in collaboration with All Pakistan NGOs association distributed Eid gifts among the poor masses on the Holy Occasion of Eid.
500 gifts packs were distributed, one to each person.
Each gift consist of basic commodities, worth Rupees 500.
Minister of State for Labor and Manpower Sheikh Waqas Akram was chief guest at the event. DIR Muhammad Talha Mushtaq also addressed the general public.

16. Internship of Rescue 1122 Internship with Rescue 1122:
*IC Jhang Saddar launched an Internship Program in collaboration with 1122.
*Internship was of 3 days in which 1122 men told us how to tackle uncertain
circumstances like Floods, Earthquake etc.
*Furthermore first aid and CPR training was also given. All Internees were
awarded participation certificates.

17. Distribution of First Aid Box
*Interact Club Jhang Garrison distributed first Aid boxes to different Schools.
*Each box contain all necessary stuff for first aid.
* About 50 first Aid boxes were distributed in different schools.

18. Interact Club Jhang Saddar this year again organized Flood relief camp.
The members also participated in flood relief efforts along with Rotary clubs
and distributed food, clothes and other items amongst the needy

Visit of SOS children Village
Interactors of IC Faisalabad Janubi visited SOS children village and met their director Tasawar Hussain Naqvi.
Interactors have planned to install a clean drinking water plant at SOS village.

19. Literacy Project Literacy Project :
Interact Club Jhang Saddar Organized a three day literacy project, in which Interactors collected old books from the students of different schools and distributed them to the unfortunate/needy children.

20. Celebration of National Days
Interact Club Jhang Saddar and Interact Club Jhang Garrison Celebrated Independence day (14th August) In collaboration with Inner Wheel Club Jhang Saddar
DIR, Muhammad Talha Mushtaq, President IWC Jhang Saddar Yasmin Mushtaq were present at the occasion.

21. Celebration of National Days
Interact Club Jhang Saddar & Interact Club Jhang Garrison celebrated 25th November Quaide Azam day along with Rotary Club Jhang Saddar.
AG Umer Khan was also present at the occasion.

22. Interact Essay Writing Competition
This year Interact District 3272 organized ‘Interact Essay Writing Competition’ in which almost 200 essay submission were received.
9 countries participated in the contest though most of the submission are from Pakistam.
Results are yet to come.
