1 Symbols Of America Yesterday we looked at pictures that represented both positive and negative aspects of our country. Many of those pictures featured the American flag, which has become a well-known symbol of pride, loyalty and appreciation for the United States. What other symbols do you feel represent our country and our way of life best? Choose ONE and draw a full- color representation of your symbol. You have many choices, but I do ask that you stay away from famous ones like the bald eagle, Statue of Liberty and the White House. Be prepared to explain to use why you choose this symbol.
